Interview with Heated Rivalry editor Mackenzie Walton
Late 2025 and early 2026 the series Heated Rivalry came out, first on the Canadian platform Crave and later distributed globally by HBO, and it was an overnight success. Produced on a shoestring budget with two totally unknown lead actors, the success of the series was phenomenal. And as is often the case with a blockbuster movie or series, Heated Rivalry was based on a book. A beautiful illustration how authors, editors and publishers can contribute to a more diverse and inclusive world. We had the chance to ask the editor of Heated Rivalry, Mackenzie Walton, some key questions about this bestselling book and series. Read more.
