IPA engaged in 'Year of Resistance' World Expression Forum (WEXFO)
IPA and a number of members attended WEXFO in Norway on 2 and 3 June. Panel, workshops and the Prix Voltaire ceremony in a setting of freedom of expression advocates of all ages made for a challenging but inspiring edition. Read more.

Sheikh Zayed Book Award Open for Submissions
The Sheikh Zayed Book Award, one of the world's leading prizes dedicated to Arabic literature and culture, is now accepting submissions across its ten categories until Monday 1st September 2025. Read more.
200th Anniversary of the German Publishers and Booksellers Association
On 30 April 1825, the German Publishers' and Booksellers' Association was created. IPA's President and Secretary General joined the celebrations of this remarkable milestone. Read more. 
IPA Vice President and Secretary General attend important UNESCO conference
From 18-20 June, Giovanni Hoepli and José Borghino attended the 10th session of the Conference of Parties to the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions at UNESCO HQ in Paris. Read more.

IPA Partners with Book 2.0 in Portugal for 3rd Edition
Registration is now officially open for Book 2.0, the leading event in Portugal dedicated to reading, literacy and the future of books. The third edition will take place on September 3 and 4, 2025, for the first time at the Champalimaud Foundation in Lisbon, under the theme 'The Reinvention of Species'. Read more.
